About Chad Henne
Chad Henne had a legendary career at the University of Michigan and a successful 15-year run in the NFL. Henne became just the second true freshman quarterback in Michigan history to start the opener in 2004 and went on to set Wolverines records for passing yards and touchdowns.
Henne subsequently started all four years at Michigan and became a two-time All-Big Ten selection. In his final game, he was named MVP of the Capital One Bowl as his UM team defeated the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow, and the Florida Gators.
The Miami Dolphins went on to select Henne as the 57th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. He spent four years in Miami, two as the primary starter before joining the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Henne was the starter for his first two seasons in Jacksonville. He finished his career with a five-year run as the back-up to Patrick Mahomes with the Kansas City Chiefs, winning two Super Bowls along the way.
