Chaunte Lowe had an impressive career in the high jump, making four Olympic teams. Lowe has been the holder of the American women's record and won a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics. Some of her other highlights include a silver at the 2005 World Championships and gold at the 2012 World Indoor games. Lowe now works spreading awareness about breast cancer after being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2019. Her advocacy work in this area led to her receiving the NCAA Inspiration Award in 2021.
