About Chip Jett
Charles Jett was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and was given the nickname Chip at birth and has spent the rest of his life deserving the nickname. He grew up around the Las Vegas lifestyle, beginning a career as a poker dealer before turning professional as a player where he realized he could make more money. Chip had a breakout year in 2003, first by finishing 2nd in the World Poker Tour PartyPoker.com Million II cruise event followed later that year by another WPT final table as well as 2 World Series of Poker final tables. His newfound success earned Chip the title of Phil Hellmuths Champion of the Year award. Chips career earnings have totaled north of $2 Million and him and his wife, fellow poker player Karina Jett, regularly author a column for Card Player Magazine.
