About Claudio Ranieri
Claudio Ranieri has managed football clubs all over the world, but he will certainly be remembered for what he did in his first year on the job for English Premier League side Leicester City in 2015. Ranieri led the team to the league title despite having 5000-1 odds to do so entering the season. In addition to Leicester City, he has managed 14different clubs and onenational teams during his career. Prior to his most recent post, he was the manager for Greece. Ranieri has spent time with prestigious teams like Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, and Juventus. In 2004, he would lay the groundwork for Chelsea'sfuture success by leading themto the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League and a runner-up finish in the Premier League. Ranieri's managerial career began with Italian teams. He gained some early recognition for taking Cagliari from Serie C1 to Serie A in successive seasons. Ranieri also had a lengthy playing career, competing for four different Italian clubs over 13 seasons.
