Darnell Dockett

Darnell Dockett was a NFL defensive end who spent a decade with the Arizona Cardinals. Dockett got his start in high school, recording a school record 47 sacks in his four seasons. As a senior, Dockett tallied 171 tackles, 15 sacks, two forced fumbles, and three blocked punts, earning him Maryland Player of the Year honors. A highly touted recruit, Dockett attended Florida State University and was a four year starter. Considered one of the best defensive players in FSU history, Dockett finished his collegiate career with 247 tackles and 10.5 sacks. He also set the school record for most tackles for loss with 65. Although he was a projected first round pick, Dockett was not selected until the third round by the Arizona Cardinals. In ten seasons with the Cardinals, Dockett recorde 459 tackles with 40.5 sacks and seven forced fumbles. He has appeared in three Pro Bowls and has earned All Pro honors in 2009.
