About Derek Moye
Derek Moye was a premiere wide receiver at Penn State University from 2008 to 2011, racking up 2,395 yards receiving and 18 touchdowns for the Nittany Lions while also earning All-Big Ten honors for three consecutive seasons. A former All-State performer in the 200-meter and 400 meter dash during his days at Rochester High School in Pennsylvania, Moye is a top-notch athlete with explosive play making ability on the field.
Moye’s pro career began in 2012 when he signed with the Dolphins as a non-drafted free agent. After the pre-season he was claimed off waivers by the saints and then made his way to the Pittsburgh Steelers in December 2012 as a part of their practice squad. After the 2012 season, the Steelers signed him to a reserve/futures contract, setting the stage for him to earn a spot on their roster and record his first touchdown reception in 2013. He spent three seasons with the Steelers and two more years on the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans. He is currently a high school football coach back in Pennsylvania.
