About Donny Marshall
Donny Marshall is a retired professional basketball small forward who played eight seasons professionally in the NBA as well as in the CBA and in Greece. Marshall attended high school in Washington before playing collegiately at the University of Connecticut. While with the Huskies, Marshall played in 121 games, eventually getting drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 1995 NBA Draft. Marshall played three seasons with the Cavs before signing with the CBA’s Connecticut Pride, playing with them before playing again with the Cavaliers in 2000. After stops with the Connecticut Pride again and then playing professionally in Greece, Marshall retired after two seasons with the New Jersey Nets in 2003. In his five seasons in the NBA, Marshall scored 293 points with 121 rebounds. Marshall is now a color commentator for NBC Sports Network on their college basketball broadcasts.
