Donovan McNabb is a retired NFL quarterback who spent 13 seasons in the league with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Redskins, and the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to his time in the NFL, McNabb played collegiately at Syracuse University. A four year starter at Syracuse, McNabb threw for 8,389 yards and 77 touchdowns, starting every game he played with the Orange. His accomplishments earned him multiple accolades, including Big East Player of the Decade, three Big East Player of the Year awards, and being named to the Syracuse All-Century Team. Following his graduation, McNabb was selected with the second overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. McNabb would have a phenomenal 11 year stint with the Eagles, becoming the team’s starter late in his rookie season. Once securing the starting job, McNabb would emerge into one of the league’s top quarterbacks, winning multiple awards and being voted to six Pro Bowls. He is currently the owner of most Eagles’ offensive and passing records, and helped lead the team to the 2004 Super Bowl. McNabb eventually retired in 2011 after one year stops with the Redskins and Vikings, finishing his storied career with 37,276 passing yards and 234 touchdowns.
