About Doug Marrone
Doug Marrone is the former head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and current offensive line coach at Alabama. Prior to his career as a coach, Marrone enjoyed a career as an offensive lineman, first at Syracuse University then for six seasons in the NFL. While in the NFL, Marrone played for the Miami Dolphins, the New Orleans Saints, and the NFL Europe’s London Monarchs. Following his retirement as a player, Marrone turned his focus to coaching, serving as an assistant with various collegiate and NFL teams before being hired as the head football coach at his alma mater Syracuse University. With the Orange, Marrone went 25-25 in four seasons, winning the Big East title in 2012 with an 8-5 record. After that season, Marrone accepted a head coaching job with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, leading the team for two seasons with a 15-17 overall record. He went on to lead the Jaguars all the way to the AFC Championship Game in 2018.
