Erica Hosseini

Erica Hosseini was very active as a child and at the age of 11 she got her own surfboard, thus beginning what turned out to be her life-long career. Just two years later, Hosseini began competing in the National Scholastic Surfing Association. The following year, at the age of 14, she entered her first professional event and became the youngest surfer ever, male or female, to make it to the finals of an ASP event when she finished 2nd at the 2002 Fosters Cup. That event ignited a flame in Hosseini as she began working harder than ever, winning 5 NSSA events in 2003. She began competing regularly in professional events, winning her first one at the 2004 OP Pro. She has compiled several impressive wins throughout her career so far, including a win at each the Roxy Pro Jr., the Volcom Championships, and the Association Pro Surfing Series. When Hosseini isn’t in the water catching waves, she is smiling for the cameras as a professional model.
