About Carissa Moore
Carissa Moore is a professional surfer who won the 2011, 2013 and 2019 WSL Women’s World Tour Championship. Moore got her start in surfing from her father who taught her how to surf when she was younger. Moore’s first year with the ASP Women’s World Tour was in 2010. During her first year on the Tour, Moore won the TSB Bank Women’s Surf Festival and Rip Curl Pro Portugal. She was also 3rd overall in the 2010 Women’s World Tour Rankings and she won the ASP Women’s World Tour Rookie of the Year award. In 2011, Moore was the ASP Women’s World Tour Champion and the youngest to win the title. Moore finished 3rd at the 2012 ASP World Tour. Moore is leading the 2013 ASP World Tour women’s title race. She has also won two ASP Tour Events, the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro and the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach. Moore also participated in the International Surfing Association World Junior Surfing Championships where she represented Hawaii in 2005.
