About Fred Jackson
Fred Jackson is an NFL running back who played for the Buffalo Bills. Prior to his time in the NFL, Jackson played collegiately at Coe College, earning various All American honors during his junior season after rushing for over 1,700 yards and 29 touchdowns. Following his graduation, Jackson went undrafted in the 2003 NFL Draft, instead choosing to play for the Sioux City Bandits of the Indoor Football League. After two seasons with the Bandits, Jackson signed to play a season with the Rhein Fire in the NFL Europa league, playing well enough to be notice by the NFL’s Buffalo Bills. In 2006, Jackson made the team out of training camp, earning the starting job and becoming the first starting running back out of a Division III college in six years. In eight seasons with the Bills, Jackson has rushed for over 5,500 yards and 30 touchdowns, along with over 2,500 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns.
