About Fuad Reveiz
Fuad Reveiz is a retired NFL placekicker who played ten seasons in the league with the Miami Dolphins, the San Diego Chargers, and the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to his time in the NFL, Reveiz played collegiately at the University of Tennessee, serving as the team’s field goal kicker and extra point specialist for four years. His best season came in 1982, when he would have a perfect extra point percentage and make 27 of 31 field goals. His success earned him All-SEC honors for that season, and he graduated in 1985 with several SEC kicking records. Following his graduation, Reveiz was drafted in the seventh round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, playing with the team for four seasons, serving as their starting kicker for his duration with the team. In 1990, Reveiz signed with the San Diego Chargers, but was cut after only making two field goals during his first month with the team. After a six year stint with the Minnesota Vikings, Reveiz chose to retire, ending his career with a 75.2 field goal percentage and a career long of 52 yards.
