About Gary Gaetti
Gary Gaetti is a former professional third baseman in MLB. Gaetti attended Lake Land College and Northwest Missouri State University where he played baseball at both colleges. Gaetti was drafted three times before he decided to sign. In 1979, The Minnesota Twins selected Gaetti in the first round of the June secondary portion in the 1979 Draft. Gaetti officially signed with the Twins on June 21, 1979. Gaetti spent three years in the Twins’ minor league system where he played for the Elizabethton Twins, the Wisconsin Rapids, and the Orlando Twins. Gaetti made his major league debut on September 20, 1981. In his first major league at bat, Gaetti hit his first major league home run. Gaetti has also played for the California Angels, Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs and the Boston Red Sox. He was a 2x AllStar, 4x Gold Glove Award winner and a 1x Silver Slugger Award winner. In 1987 he was the ALCS MVP and World Series Champion.
