Giovani Bernard

Giovani Bernard had a productive ten-year NFL career, highlighted by eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. A native of Davie, Florida with Haitian roots, Bernard was the No. 2 ranked running back in the sunshine state during his senior year at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and eventually chose the University of North Carolina to play his college ball. At UNC he battled some injuries but eventually worked his way back into prime form, earning All-ACC First Team and Third Team All-American honors in 2012, setting himself to be a 2nd round pick of the Bengals in the 2013 NFL Draft. Benard had a standout rookie season, posting 695 rushing yards and 514 receiving yards on 56 receptions. His eight total touchdowns ranked him third on the team, and he became a vital piece to their playoff puzzle. Bernard continued to be both a rushing and receiving threat for Cincy before he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
