About Jake Coker
Jake Coker will be forever remembered in an elite group of Alabama playerrs. Coker led the Crimson Tide to the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2016. In the 45-40 win over Clemson, he went 16-25 for 335 yards and two touchdowns. It was his first 300-yard passing performance of the season. Coker finished the season with 3,110 yards passing, 21 touchdowns and only eight interceptions. The previous season, he appeared in limited action as the backup to Blake Sims. Coker started his college career at Florida State, competing with eventual Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston for the starting job. As the backup, he was a part of an FSU squad that won the final BCS National Champioship in 2014. Overall, Coker was on team's that won two ACC and two SEC titles while in college.
