About Jimmy Rollins
Jimmy Rollins is one of the most beloved players in Philadelphia Phillies history. Rollins played 15 seasons with the Phillies and was one of the game's premiere leadoff hitters for most of his tenure. He was a three-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner at shortstop. During parts of the 2005 and 2006 seasons, Rollins racked up a franchise-record 38 game hitting streak. In 2007, he was named National League MVP and Philadelphia won the first of five straight NL East Division titles. That following year, Rollins helped the Phillies win the World Series. He was regularly active in the community during his playing career and won the Roberto Clemente Award in his final year in Philadelphia in 2014. Rollins went on to play for the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers before retiring. He is currently an advisor for the Phillies and a member of their television broadcast team.
