About John Isner
John Isner was one of the best American singles players during his career.Isner is best remembered for his epic match with Nicholas Mahut at Wimbledon in 2010.The 11-hour, five-minute duel spread out over three days is the longest in professional tennis history.
Isner won 16 career singles titles and reached as high as eighth in the world.He was a one-time semifinalist at Wimbledon and reached the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open on two occasions.
Isner's 6’10” height made him very unique and one of the most greatest servers in tennis history. He holds the record for the fastest-ever serve and the most career aces on the ATP Tour.
Isner grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, and started playing tennis at the age of nine.He graduated from the University of Georgia and was a three-time All-American.
