About Josh Hader
Josh Hader pitches for the Houston Astros and is one of the best relievers in baseball. Hader is a five-time All-Star and three-time National League Reliever of the Year.
In 2018, Hader was named an All-Star for the first time while with the Milwaukee Brewers. He was also the National League Reliever of the Year after going 6-1 with 12 saves, a 2.43 ERA, 143 strikeouts in 81.1 innings. That season, Hader led the major leagues by holding left-handed batters to a .088 average. Hader originally debuted with the Brewers in 2017.
The Baltimore Orioles initially selected him out of Anne Arundel Community College in the 19th round of the 2012 MLB Draft. While in the minors, Hader was part of trades to the Houston Astros and Brewers but remained one of the best pitching prospects in the game. Before being called up, he was selected to play in the 2016 All-Star Futures Game.
