Kevin Kolb

Kevin Kolb is a Texas native and starred at the University of Houston from 2002 to 2006, earning Conference USA Offensive Most MVP honors as a senior and setting the stage for a standout career in the NFL at the quarterback position. In 2007 the Philadelphia Phillies selected Kolb in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft and after a solid collegiate career and performance at the NFL combine. Upon signing a four-year, $4.285 million contract with the Eagles he served as the team’s back-up from 2007 to 2009 before finally earning the starting job in 2010. In 2011 Kolb was traded to the Arizona Cardinals and became a valuable offensive asset for two seasons before finishing his career with the Buffalo Bills in 2013. During his career he threw for 5,206 yards and 28 touchdowns while also serving as a leader in the locker room for every franchise he played with. Outside of football he enjoys competing in fishing tournaments and enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two young daughters.
