About Kevin Maxen
Kevin Maxen is making history as the first openly gay coach in the NFL and the first LGBTQ male coaching in major American pro sports. Maxen is currently an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He shared his story with Outsports.com in July 2023. Maxen has been with the Jaguars since 2021. He previously worked in strength and conditioning for Baylor and Vanderbilt. Maxen began his career as an intern at Iowa and Army.
