About Kyle Williams
Kyle Williams is a wide receiver for the National Football League who is currently a free agent. Williams attended Arizona State University where he earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors as a punt returner. He was also named honorable mention allconference as a returner in 2008. Williams became a regular starter during his senior year and he was first-team All-Pac-10 as wide receiver and second-team AllPac-10 as a punt returner. The San Francisco 49ers selected Williams in the sixth round during the 2010 NFL Draft. During the 2010 season, Williams only played five games as he spent most of the year injured. On September 18, 2011, Williams caught his first touchdown pass against the Dallas Cowboys. Williams had to play wide receiver and punt returner for the 49ers while Ted Ginn Jr. was injured. On November 12, 2013, the 49ers released Williams. The following day, Williams claimed off waivers by the Kanas City Chiefs. On November 22, Williams announced that he had torn his ACL and would miss the rest of the season. Williams re-signed with the Chiefs in 2014, but was released due to a shoulder injury.
