About Larry Little
Larry Little is a former offensive guard in college and professional football. Little attended Bethune-Cookman College where he played football. Little went unselected during the 1967 NFL Draft, but he signed as a free agent with the American Football League’s San Diego Chargers. The Chargers traded Little in 1968 to the Miami Dolphins for the 1969 season, where he was named AFL All-Star. Little then played with the National Football League Dolphins from 1970 until 1980. Little was a key player in the success of the Dolphins’ punishing running attack in the early and mid- 1970s. After his playing career ended, Little then became the head football coach at his alma mater from 1983-1991. He then served as the head coach at North Carolina Central University from 1993-1998. He also coached the Ohio Glory of the World League of American Football. On December 16, 1993, Little was added to the Miami Dolphins Honor Roll and he was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
