About Leon Rice
Leon Rice has taken Boise State to two NCAA Tournaments and one of their best seasons in program history. In 2014-15, the Broncos went 25-9 and won their first Mountain West regular season crown. As a result of the team’s success, Rice was named MWC Coach of the Year. He was originally tabbed to lead the program based on his 12 year run as an assistant at Gonzaga. The rest of Rice’s coaching experience also came in the west, with assistant stints at Oregon, Northern Colorado, and Yakima Valley CC. The Richland, Washington native attended school at Washington State and graduated in 1986.
