Marco Estrada

Marco Estrada is a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. Estrada emerged as a key piece of a 2015 Blue Jays squad that won the American League East. In that first season in Toronto, he went 13-8 with a 3.13 ERA. During the postseason Estrada was even better, going 2-1 with a 2.33 ERA. In 2016, Estrada picked up where he left off. He made his first All-Star team and sported a 5-3 record with a 2.93 ERA at the break. He set a Major League Baseball record in June by completing 11 straight starts of six or more innings while allowing five hits or fewer in each appearance. Estrada came to the Blue Jays via the Milwaukee Brewers. He pitched five seasons in Milwaukee and was a permanent fixture in the rotation during the last three. The Washington Nationals originally selected him in the sixth round of the 2005 MLB Draft. He made his big league debut for the Nationals in 2008.
