About Marcus Trufant
Marcus Trufant was a 10-year defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks. Trufant had a career high seven interceptions in 2007 and was a first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection. With the Seahawks, he won the NFC and made his only Super Bowl in 2005. The franchise honored Trufant by naming him to their 35th anniversary team. He was originally selected 11th overall in the 2003 NFL Draft. At Washington State, he was a first-team All-Pac 10 and second team All-American in 2002. That season, Trufant played on one of the last great Cougar teams that tied for the Pac 10 title and played in the Rose Bowl. A native of Tacoma, Washington, he played at Wilson High School. His younger brothers, Isaiah and Desmond, also played defensive back in the NFL. Trufant is currently the host of “The Barbershop” on ESPN Radio 710 in Seattle. He also spends time growing The Trufant Family Foundation, which supports a variety of programs in the Seattle and Tacoma area.
