About Matt Finkes
In the mid-1990s, Matt Finkes terrorized Big 10 defenses. He was an All-American and All-Big 10 selection while playing at Ohio State. Finkes finished his Buckeye career ranked third in school history in sacks. The New York Jets selected him in the sixth round of the 1997 NFL Draft and he played five seasons for various pro organizations. Finkes has been a successful businessman in the Columbus area since his retirement from football. He currently is director of development at OSU’s medical center. Finkes is still a familiar face to Ohio State fans. He does a pre and postgame show for the local ABC affiliate and also covers high school football in the area for Time Warner Sports.
