About Michael Chang
In a crowded field of tennis greats in the 1990s, Michael Chang still made his presence felt. Chang won 34 titles and finished with a 662-312 singles record. When he was just over 17 years old, he became the youngest male Grand Slam winner ever at the French Open. Chang won just under $20 million in his career and finished the year as a top ten player in the world six times. On September 6, 1996, he peaked at number two in the world rankings. For his incredible achievements in one of the golden ages of tennis, Chang was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2008. Outside of tennis, he has been a successful businessman, running a real estate holdings business called CMCB Enterprises. During his career, he had corporate partnerships with companies like Reebok, Panasonic, and Discover Card. The Chang Family Foundation is the vehicle through which he spreads faith-based initiatives with various sports programs.
