About Mike London
Mike London was born and raised in West Point, New York and played his college ball as a defensive back at the University of Richmond. After a decorated playing career he signed on as an assistant at Richmond in 1988 and served in that role for two years until being hired as the defensive line coach at William & Mary. After three years in that role he returned to Richmond for three seasons and then signed on at Boston College. From 2001 to 2004 he served as the defensive line coach at Virginia before making the leap to the National Football League in 2005 with the Houston Texans. Ultimately, Coach London felt he was more suited towards the college game and returned to Virginia in 2006 and Richmond in 2008 and 2009 before landing the head-coaching job at Virginia in 2010. Since 2010 he has led the Cavaliers to 23 wins in the ACC and a Bowl appearance in 2011.
