About Mike Mayock
Mike Mayock had a tremendous climb to become a fan favorite football commentator and eventually the general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders. Mayock had a brief playing career in pro football and went into commercial real estate for 18 years following his retirement. He subsequently got a break in broadcasting with the Prime Network and the Big East Conference. Mayock proceeded to work college football and other events for ESPN, CBS Sports and ABC Sports. He really rose to prominence when he joined the NFL Network in 2004, becoming their top NFL Draft expert until his departure in 2018. Mayock then got to try his hand in the front office, becoming the general manager of the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, a position he held until 2021.
