About Mike Napoli
Napoli began his career with the Los Angeles Angels and spent five seasons in LA before joining the Texas Rangers in 2011. During his time with the Angels and Rangers he developed into one of the top power-hitting players in the league. In 2012 he earned his first All-Star selection with the Rangers and also earned the reputation of being one of the most consistent performers in the league day in and day out. During the 2013 offseason Napoli signed with the Boston Red Sox and helped them to their third World Series Championship in the last 10 years. Thus far in his career he has posted a solid .257 batting average and launched 186 homeruns with 527 RBI in 985 career games. His best season came in 2011 when he posted a career high .320 average with 30 homeruns, 75 RBI, and 72 runs scored. Napoli is one of the premier leaders in the league behind the plate, and is also a solid defensive replacement at first base.
