Pat Croce

Pat Croce is an American entrepreneur and former owner of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers. Originallyhired as a physical therapist by the 76ers, Croce would go on to start the Sports Physical Therapistsbusiness, growing it into a multi-million dollar corporation before selling it in 1993. In 1996, Croce wasnamed the team president of the 76ers after buying the team with Ed Snider and Comcast,turning the76ers from a last place basement dweller to a top ten team, reaching the NBA Finals in 2001. Eventually,Croce left his role as team president, and although he still remains a partial owner, does not have anycontrol over the basketball operations. After leaving the team, Croce would go on to invest and startmany businesses, including a pirate museum, a colonial history museum, Islands Dog Bar, and manyothers. He has also written various books about his career, and does part time sports broadcasting forNBC.
