About Pat Neshek
Pat Neshek is a pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies who has long been one of the top middle relievers in baseball. The Minnesota Twins originally selected Neshek in the sixth round of the 2002 MLB Draft. He holds Butler University school single game, season and career records for strikeouts. Neshek debuted with the Twins in 2006 and pitched four seasons with the franchise. He went on to pitch for the San Diego Padres and Oakland Athletics before having the best season of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2014. Neshek went 7-2 with a 1.87 ERA in 71 appearances. He was also named to his first All-Star team. Neshek had two more seasons with a sub-4.00 ERA with the Houston Astros before signing with the Phillies. He was named to his second All-Star team in Philadelphia in 2017.
