About Paul Haynes
Paul Haynes is a collegiate football coach, currently serving as head coach of the Kent State Universityfootball team. Prior to his coaching career, Haynes was a defensive back at Kent State, lettering in allfour seasons he played. After his graduation in 1991, Haynes served as an assistant coach at various highschools and smaller colleges, eventually earning the role as secondary coach at his alma mater of KentState. Haynes left just one year later to take a position with the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL. Oneseason later, Haynes would return to college football, coaching at Louisville, Michigan State, Ohio State,and Arkansas up until 2012. On December 18, 2012 Haynes was named the 21st head coach in Kent StateUniversity history, and in two seasons has achieved a 6-17 record.
