About Peter Vidmar
Peter Vidmar is a three-time Olympic medalist and member of the legendary 1984 U.S. men’s gymnastics team. Vidmar won gold in the team competition and pommel horse and silver in the individual competition in 1984. He is the highest scoring U.S. gymnast of all-time. When Team USA won the gold, it was the first time they had ever topped the podium in men’s gymnastics. Due to his accomplishments, Vidmar is a member of the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and the entire 1984 men’s gymnastics team is also inducted. He became a star on the world stage right out of UCLA, where he won the Nissen Award in 1983 as the NCAA’s top male gymnast. Vidmar is the Chairman of the Board for USA Gymnastics and has worked on many causes promoting fitness and health. He has also been a gymnastics analyst for ESPN and CBS Sports.
