About Ricky Rahne
Ricky Rahne is the head football coach of one of the most potential-rich programs in the country. Rahne was hired at Old Dominion in 2019 after spending six seasons on the coaching staff at Penn State. He was the team's quarterbacks coach, tight ends coach and offensive coordinator at different times in his tenure. Rahne had previously worked under Nittany Lions head coach for three seasons, coaching quarterbacks at Vanderbilt. He got his break in major college football on the Kansas State staff from 2006-10. Rahne began his career coaching the defensive line at Holy Cross in 2004 and then moved on to his alma mater, Cornell, in 2005. He is Cornell's all-time leader in several passing categories and a member of the school's Athletics Hall of Fame.
