About Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey is the former #1 ranked pound-for-pound female in UFC. Rousey was a pioneer in the sport, becoming the first Women's Bantamweight Champion for the UFC. She had a remarkable run of six title defenses. Rousey was also the first female to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018.
Rousey began her MMA career in 2010, working her way up to become Women's Bantamweight Champion in Strikeforce. A 4th degree black belt in judo, Rousey first competed in judo before she began her MMA career. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she became the first American woman to win the Olympic gold medal in judo. Rousey also has a career as a model and an actress, appearing in several major films. She also signed with the WWE in 2018 and won the Raw Women's Championship.
