About Rueben Bain Jr.
Rueben Bain Jr. is a standout defensive end for the Miami Hurricanes. From Miami, Florida, the 6'3 ", 275-pound junior attended Miami Central High School, amassing 77 career sacks and leading his team to four state titles. In 2021, he earned the Miami Herald 5A-IND Co-Defensive Player of the Year with 60 tackles, 48.5 tackles for loss, and 29.5 sacks, later winning the 2022 Nat Moore Trophy as South Florida's top player. A four-star recruit, Bain chose Miami over Alabama, LSU, and others. As a freshman in 2023, he notched 44 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks, earning ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, despite a 2024 calf injury limiting him to 23 tackles and 3.5 sacks in nine games. With a 95+ Pro Football Focus grade, he's the top-rated college defender, projected as a top-five 2026 NFL Draft pick.
