About Russell Okung
Russell Okung was a 3 star recruit in high school and while he didnt have the prototypical bulk a college lineman, he received numerous major offers and eventually committed to Oklahoma State University. Although he initially wasnt a starter for the Cowboys, by the end of his freshman year he had worked his way onto the starting line where he stayed for the rest of his career, finishing with 47 straight starts. Okung played in several games where he held the nations leading sacker to 0 sacks on his way to a 2x All-American career. The 2009 Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year was one of the top offensive linemans in the 2010 NFL Draft where he was selected 6th overall by the Seattle Seahawks. Okung made an easy transition into the NFL, working his way to a 2012 Pro Bowl selection and helped win Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks.
