About Rusty Greer
Rusty Greer is one of the most beloved players in Texas Rangers history. Greer was a tenth round pick of the Rangers in 1990 and debuted with the major league club in 1994. He spent his entire nine-year career in Texas and had three 100 RBI seasons. Greer regularly hit over .300 and contributed to some successful Rangers teams in the 1990s. He was known for playing fearlessly and often had to battle back from injuries. Greer played his final game in 2002 and was inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame in 2007. He currently trains young players through the Rusty Greer Baseball School in Colleyville, TX.
