Scott Satterfield

Scott Satterfield is the head coach at the University of Cincinnati. Satterfield led Louisville to 25 wins over four seasons before heading to UC. He previously guided the Appalachian State football program through one of the most important periods in school history. He helped the team successfully transition from the FCS to FBS level. After a 7-5 record during their first season as members of the Sun Belt Conference, the Mountaineers posted 11-2 and 10-3 records respectively. Each year, they finished the year on a high note with a win in the Camellia Bowl. The program won three straight Sun Belt Conference championships from 2016-18. Before being named head coach, he served one year on staff as the offensive coordinator in 2012. While most of Satterfield's coaching experience is with the Mountaineers he did also spend two seasons as the offensive coordinator at FIU and one year on the staff at Toledo. He is an Appalachian State alum who won 27 games at quarterback for the program. The first 11 years of his coaching career were spent at his alma mater.
