About Sebastian Janikowski
Sabastian Janikowski is a Florida State University product and earned First-Team All-American honors while playing for the Seminoles. During his college days, he earned the nickname “The Polish Cannon” due to his ability to launch 50+ yard kicks on a regular basis during games. In 2000 the Oakland Raiders selected Janikowski in the first round of the NFL Draft and made him one of the faces of their franchise. Since that time he has broken NFL records for the most 60+ yard field goals with two, most 50+ yard field goals in a game with 3, and most 40+ plus yard field goals in a game with 4. In 2002 he helped the Oakland Raiders to an AFC Championship with superb kicking it the playoffs. Over 18 years with the Oakland Raiders, he broke their franchise scoring record with 1,799 points. Janikowski also holds a record with 268 games played for the franchise. He spent the 2018 season with the Seattle Seahawks before retiring in the offseason.
