About Steadman Shealy
Steadman Shealy is a former college quarterback and is currently an attorney. Shealy attended the University of Alabama where he played football on a scholarship under coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. Shealy played as a wishbone quarterback from 1976-79 for the Tide. He was also a part of the longest win streak in school history from 1978-79 when Alabama won 28 consecutive games. In 1978, Shealy was a member of Alabama’s 1978 national championship team, but he served as the backup quarterback to Jeff Rutledge. Shealy and Alabama were back at the national championship in 1979, and this time, Shealy was the starting quarterback. Shealy served as a graduate assistant for Alabama’s football team while he was working on his law degree. In 1984, Shealy joined the Dothan Lawfirm of Buntin & Cobb as an associate. Today, Shealy is a senior partner at the firm, which is now known as Shealy, Crum & Pike. P.C.
