About Steve Breaston
Steve Breaston, currently a free agent, is a wide receiver who started his professional career in the 2007 NFL Draft as a fifth round pick by the Arizona Cardinals. Breaston played four seasons of college football for the Michigan Wolverines in which he dominantly obtained 156 receptions, the fifth most in the state of Michigan. He quickly became Michigan’s all-time leading punt returner, returning 127 punts for 1,599 yards, and kickoff returner, reaching 81 returns for 1,993 yards, which qualified him for setting Big Ten Conference records, as well. Breaston also set a Rose Bowl record in January of 2005 with 315 all-purpose yards. In 2008, Breaston thrived as a Cardinal as he was entered into their starting line-up at wide receiver. Before moving on to the Kansas City Chiefs and later the New Orleans Saints, Breaston had 140 receptions with the Cardinals, 1,810 yards and 6 touchdowns. After being released from his one-year deal with the Saints in 2013, Breaston is currently a free agent continuing to make a name for himself.
