About Thad Busby
Thad Busby is a former NFL and Arena Football League quarterback. In high school, Busby was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1993 MLB Draft, but turned down the offer to play football at Florida State University. After four disappointing years at FSU, Busby received an offer from the San Francisco 49ers, but was released after never playing a down. After failing to make the Cleveland Browns team in 1999, Busby was signed to the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League. The 2000 season with the Storm would be his last professional football season, throwing for seven touchdowns with four interceptions.
