About T.J. Schiller
T.J. Schiller is the head skier of the Canadian National Freestyle team. Born in Vernon, British Columbia in 1986, Schiller has competed for Canada in numerous skiing events, including the Winter X Games, winning first place in 2006 for best trick, and a gold medal in 2009 for slopestyle. Schiller also won a silver medal in the “Big Air” competition during the 2010 X Games. At the 2014 winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, Schiller became the first person to ever land a double cork 1620, a stunt that no one has repeated to this day. He is currently sponsored by Nike 6.0, Monster Energy, and many others, and his signature move is the switch 1080 mule grab, a move that combines massive amounts of air as well as execution and precision.
