About Toby Gerhart
Toby Gerhart is an athlete, simply put. Not only was a star running back during his days at Stanford University, he was also the Cardinals starting centerfielder on the baseball diamond. However, after earning All-American honors as a running back and finishing as the runner-up for the Heisman in 2009 he passed up an opportunity to play pro baseball to head to the NFL. In 2010 the Minnesota Vikings picked Gerhart in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft, making him one of the faces of their franchise going forward. In 2014 Gerhart made his way to the Jacksonville Jaguars where he serves in that same role. A tough, speedy and athletic running back, Gerhart fights for tough yardage and is known to come through in the clutch. To date he has rushed for 1,570 yards in limited time with 6 rushing touchdowns and 3 receiving touchdowns to go along with 779 receiving yards out of the backfield
