About Todd Zeile
Todd Zelle played 16 seasons in the major leagues as a third baseman after a stellar career at UCLA. To say that Zelle was the ultimate journeyman would be an understatement, as he played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Florida Marlins, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, and Montreal Expos before finally ending his career in 2004 with the Mets. Of the 11 teams he played for during his career the Mets are the only team he played for twice. After his playing career he founded Green Diamond Entertainment to pursue both a film production and acting career. He’s since appeared in several movies and on several popular television shows such as The King of Queens and I AM. On the field he garnered respect from his teammate and opponents due to his consistency despite all the travel, and collected over 2,000 hits, 1,000 RBI and 200 homeruns during his career.
