About Tom Luginbill
Tom Luginbill is a vital part of ESPN's college football coverage. He serves as the National Recruiting Director for the network-owned Scouts Inc. Luginbill's analysis on the top recruits in college football is featured on ESPN.com and the various networks in the company. He also works as a sideline reporter on college football Saturdays for either ESPN or ABC. Luginbill originally joined Scouts Inc. in 2002 and was brought on to ESPN when the bought the company. He has an extensive playing background. He spent two seasons at Palomar Junior College and set national junior college passing records. In his final year, the team won the JUCO National Championship. Luginbill transferred to Georgia Tech and became the ACC Newcomer of the Year in 1994. He spent one final college season at Eastern Kentucky. Following graduation from EKU, Luginbill spent extensive time playing and coaching in arena football.
