About Tom Walter
Tom Walter has led a great period of success as the head coach of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Walter has led the baseball program since 2010. He had a career highlight in 2023, guiding the team to over 50 wins and a College World Series appearance. Walter was also named ACC Coach of the Year. He is also well known for donating his kidney to one of his players in 2011. Prior to arriving at Wake, Walter led New Orleans to two NCAA appearances in five years. His first head coaching job was at George Washington, where he had two 40-win seasons.
